Seven C’s Mission is an outreach ministry of Living Water Community Church, encompassing care and compassion in Rochelle and surrounding communities. We offer free donated items and hygiene packages in the name of Jesus Christ to individuals and families in need. The clothing and hygiene are merely the vehicles God uses to bring the needy and hurting right to our door as an opportunity to reveal Christ.

The vision of Seven C’s Mission is to see followers of Jesus Christ, filled with His Holy Spirit, blessing each other and those in need, by meeting not only physical needs but more importantly spiritual needs. In freely giving of our time, resources, and love for Jesus Christ, we hope to reach out and connect to those in the community who have not yet chosen to follow the Lord Jesus and are in need of His great salvation.

If you’ve never come to a monthly Day of Blessing there are several things that you can expect. You should receive a friendly greeting as you stop at the registration table to pick up a registration form to fill out. Once you finish filling out the registration form, you can expect to receive a delicious homemade meal, and a choice of beverages to dine on as you wait for a volunteer who helps guide you through selecting free clothing and hygiene products. You can also expect that a volunteer will pray with you over any prayer requests you list on your registration form, and that the entire team will pray over your prayer requests throughout the month. You can also expect to hear about the good news of the kingdom of God that is available for all who choose to believe and follow Jesus as King. You can expect that a member of Living Water Community Church’s leadership team will be available to pray, listen, and talk with you upon request. It is our desire that you feel the love of Christ during your time with us.

If you have never volunteered at a monthly Day of Blessing and wonder how you can join the team there are a few things you can expect. After you fill out a volunteer application, you can expect to meet with team leaders and walk through the ministry to gain understanding of what we do and why we do it. You can expect to discuss and determine the best way for you to serve, as well as share what God has done and is doing in your life.

Our volunteers have the option to serve in several ways. One way to serve is to sit at the registration table to greet and hand out registration forms to those who come to a monthly Day of Blessing. As a registration table volunteer your primary responsibility is to shine Christ’s love and bring the good news of Jesus’ lordship and salvation as you meet and greet those come.  You’ll also help keep track of the registration forms from those receiving the blessings God provides. Another way to serve is as a kitchen volunteer you can serve food, refill beverages, and wash dishes as you show the love of Christ to those at a Day of Blessing. Those who serve as volunteers who guide Seven C’s guests through their free shopping experience get to do one-on-one ministry with the person or family they are serving as you walk them through selecting hygiene items and clothes. Time spent one-on-one is an amazing time of ministry where you build relationships, trust and get to pray with each person who is comfortable being prayed with.  In addition, we need volunteers to serve in sorting and hanging clothing at Seven C’s.  This is a weekly need and this service is so important to help make the selection of free clothing organized and in good condition. See below regarding additional ways to serve the Seven C’s Ministry.
