Living Water is an elder lead church. Our elders are comprised of men who meet the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:7-9. At Living Water, we recognize that the Bible teaches a plurality of servant leadership. This means all our Elders are equally tasked with spiritual oversight of Living Water and its ministries though it doesn’t mean that all the elders are the same in the spiritual gifts that God has bestowed upon them.  We recognize that the plurality and equality in this elder-led, biblical design helps balance the skills and talents within the elders.  The Bible repeatedly demonstrates that with each congregation/ church of believers, there is to be multiple elders.  The Bible also uses the words overseer (“bishop” in some translations) interchangeably with the words elder and pastor.  

 

The Board of Directors is comprised of men and women who meet the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:8-10. Our Board of Directors is tasked with managing the physical and financial operations of Living Water.
